I made this collage today - actually, I started it last week, but I couldn't finish it till today cos I was waiting on some stamps for the finishing touches. The size is 8" x 10", which is quite intimidating for someone who's only done card and ATC size art.
But ... I'm very happy with it. The colours are new for me too - I don't usually work in muted vintage colours, but when inspiration hit me for this collage I knew that I couldn't do it in any other colours. I used
Rangers Distress Inks for all the edges, and the stamping. The postage stamp surround, and the top postal mark are both from
Montarga stamps. They are one of my favourite stamp companys, and the best thing about them is - they're based in New Zealand !!!
